Cinco de Mayo—the Spanish translation of May 5th—is a holiday commemorating the date of the Mexican army’s unexpected victory of the Battle of Puebla in 1982. Cinco de Mayo is celebrated by Mexican-America citizens in the US with festivals, street parties, food, music and folk dancing.
In the spirit of this holiday, Fat Fish Familia. will be taking over Camp Kilo to bring you a taste of Cinco De Mayo with an all-day daytime dancing affair, with a few surprises in store. Fancy dress is encouraged! ??
