Kilo Lounge presents Aera (GER, Maeve/ Innervisions) with Haan
Aera, real name Ralf Schmidt, is a music producer, DJ and live act. Growing up in northern Germany, he started DJ-ing and producing in the electronic music world in the mid 90’s. In 2010, he started Aleph Music to release his own music and quickly gained attention as a singular artist with a unique vision of sound.
3 years later, his first album ‘Offseason Traveller’ followed, a personal and highly colourful mix of house, disco, breakbeats and ambient. In 2014, he released his first track on Innervisions, followed by a record on Maeve, a full length EP on Innervisions in 2016 and an EP on Hivern Discs in 2017. Since then, Aera has been constantly touring, bringing him to clubs such as Panorama Bar (Berlin), The Block (Tel Aviv), Analog BKNY (New York) or Elevator (Shanghai). Recently, he built a new studio in the heart of Berlin-Kreuzberg, and is working towards building something big in 2018.
