Marcus L has been in motion his whole life—growing up in Seoul, coming of age in England, decamping to Berlin and finally settling back in Seoul—and his deeply syncopated brand of electronic dance music has evolved with every step of the journey.
DJ and founder of the labels Ameniia as well as Kammer Radio&Records, he also runs the 250-capacity Faust club in Seoul, South Korea.
He started DJing in 2006 and his production and projects came into the spotlight and garnered attention from the likes of GND, Circle Music (Germany), HMWL (Sweden) and Chaungo from 2013.
After playing venues like Kosmonaut, Suicide Circus, About Blank and Golden Gate in Berlin, Marcus felt the importance of building the underground scene in Korea, which led him to return home and build Faust into one of the most important clubs in Seoul.
