BLACKOUT (Singapore) has built a strong reputation in Singapore and is known for its quality music and forward thinking acts. Consistently bringing in interesting acts and introducing new sounds to the avid music lover.
For this edition of BLACKOUT we invite Dreems, the Australian DJ – Producer is the co-owner of one of my favourite labels right now MULTI CULTI. In the short 3 years since it’s inception Multi Culti has delivered music from the likes of Red Axes, Crowdpleaser, Manfredas, Clarian, Dreems, Nicola Cruz, Peter Power, Auntie Flo and more, recruiting other globally aware artists such as Daniel Maloso, Mickey Moonlight, Michael Mayer, Moscoman & Axel Boman for remixes. Expect big things to come from this rising label.
Sharing the stage with Dreems will be fellow countryman, Graz. The Co-owner and Music Director for Hanoi’s only underground club…. Savage. This small club in Hanoi has been been making big waves in the region holding the first ever Boiler Room in S.E.A and has been bringing top class house and techno DJs from all over to play for their club.
On Warm up duties will be founder of the LOVE.PLAY podcast series, Md Asri otherwise known as Robo X. An underrated DJ that has played on radio stations like Red Bull’s Globalize Youself Stereo, Berlin Deep Select & has his mixes selected as one of the top mixes for New York’s Fiction Lab website.
Expect an impressive night of music from these lads.
