JonnyVicious has established himself as one of Malaysia’s hottest acts, supporting the likes of Nicole Moudaber, Hito, Matthias Meyer, Blond:Ish, Joey Negro, and Hunter/Game, to mention just a few. He famously spent 9 months straight-edged working on his style and technique on the decks. He also helms the big Nobody Listens To Techno parties at Pisco, plus a series of cool pop-up parties around Kuala Lumpur. This will be his Kilo Lounge debut, and we are all excited to see what he brings to the table at what is set to be a massive party.
2016 has been a big year for Oliver. Having played at Ultra Singapore, launching his record label ETTF Music, and playing extensively across Asia, he is going from strength to strength.Oliver Osborne moved to Singapore from London, where he played at notable clubs as Fabric, Corsica Studios, 93feet East, Shoreditch (Soho) House, The Big Chill Bar and many more. During his time in London, Oliver played alongside the likes of M.A.N.D.Y., Maya Jane Coles, Stefan Bodzin, Noze, and Matt Tolfrey, to mention a few. He started his After Dark parties in May 2013, a series of pop-ups at the hidden gem that was Kilo Lounge at Kampong Bugis. He also brings his musical agenda to Cato with regular parties, and runs the phenomenally successful Eyes To The Front pool parties. Though Oliver learnt to DJ on a diet of jungle, drum and bass, and hip-hop, his ear eventually turned to house and techno, and his current sound has taken him to some of Asia’s top underground clubs, such as Glow in Bangkok, Lola in Shanghai, Jenja in Bali, and as far afield as Mongolia.
Deep, Soulful, Minimal, Jackin’, Techno…nothing is off-limits or outside of the range of this 15-year veteran of DJ-ing. From humble beginnings in the NYC party scene at places like Tunnel and Twilo, to playing alongside many of his early influences such as Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, and Nick Warren, Tye has grown into a mature force when behind the decks, carefully selecting the perfect crate secrets for each crowd he plays to. He’s not simply a DJ, he’s an atmosphere specialist—his whole aura brings the vibe. Tye goes deep, dark, and melodic, and always delivers that ever-elusive ‘underground warehouse vibe’. Whether it’s an intimate lounge of a few dozen, or a big room scene of a thousand, he brings pure soul and raw energy to make the party bounce.
